Cairns Airport Parking is locally owned and operated. Established in 2007 before the Airport was sold and privatised. The new owners of the airport then started to change the airport's name to Cairns Airport with the on airport parking known as and run by Wilsons Parking and in 2018 by Secure Parking.
We happily traded as Cairns Airport Parking until Cairns Airport started insisting that they wanted our Business name and purposely created confusion to our Business name Cairns Airport Parking.
In 2011 or thereabouts, Cairns Airport started creating confusion by using our business name and attacking us on the basis that they had just been granted a trademark for Cairns Airport and they were now going to use the name Cairns Airport Parking in their marketing as they insisted that just by adding the word parking onto the end of their Trademark we no longer had the right to use our registered business name any longer. They were very aggressive and relentlessly attacked us through the big end of town Brisbane Lawyers and finally mounting a WIPO case againts us to hijack our business name and our web address.
Cairns Airport was unsucsssful in the WIPO case as we demonstrated that they should never have been granted a Trademark as their application for trademark did not stand up to an honest representation of the facts to support a trademark.
This whole experience caused us a lot of personal grief and expense.

Cairns Airport Parking has been catering to the FIFO needs since 2007. It's important to register that you are FIFO so the Online booking system automatically recognises you when you book.
